MOPS

Welcome to MOPS and MomsNext at NorthPoint Church! Here are some frequently asked questions about the group.

Q. What is MOPS?
A. MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and is part of the MOPS International community which unites moms from around the world.  It helps moms be more confident in their mothering, connect with others and gives them a greater sense of identity. We utitilize videos, speakers and each other to grow and learn.

Q. Who is this group for?
A. Any mom with kids from birth through high school. MOPS includes moms with children newborn-kindergarten. MomsNext includes moms with children kindergarten-high school. The two groups meet together.

Q. When does it meet?
A. We meet the 2nd & 4th Thursdays from 9:30-11:15am at NorthPoint church from September-May.

Q. Is there a cost?
A. Yes. Registration is two-fold.  Everyone must register with MOPS International first, which is $31.95 for the year.  We will register locally this summer. The local fee for MOPS is $80/year. The local fee for MomsNext is $40/year.

Q. What if I need financial assistance?
A. Financial concerns should never prevent a mom from being part of our group! Please email if you need financial assistance.

Q. What about childcare?
A. MOPS does provide childcare for newborns through five year olds on a first come, first serve basis until our classes are full based on available workers.

Q. I’m ready to join! What do I do next?
