What is Cultivate?
NorthPoint's mission has always been about Jesus and people. We say it like this: We're cultivating communities of grace and truth. Now, we're taking the next step in that mission as we seek to turn our building into a community center, creating space for grace and truth for all people in the community. We invite you to join us in this two-year initiative and see how God will use each of us to advance His kingdom through the generosity of our time, service, and financial gifts.
The Vision of Cultivate
Envision The Space
Envision a playspace for children and parents, indoor sports courts, a cafe offering coffee, breakfast and lunch items, and gathering space for people of all ages-- including a safe space for students from the high school across the street. Click below to tour what this renovated space could look like! Choose from a walk-through tour or still renderings for a closer look.
Join The Journey With Us
We want everyone to participate in Cultivate, and we've created a guidebook to help you understand what it's all about. Scroll through it below for more on the history of NorthPoint, specific ways to pray, how to be a generous giver, and more. This guidebook also contains space for you to take notes during each week's message and during community group. If you'd like us to mail you a physical copy of the guidebook, please fill out a form here.
How Can I Be Part of Cultivate?
August 11 - September 8
Join us each Sunday as Pastor Jeremy Carr engages each of us in Cultivate. You'll learn how Cultivate connects to God's Word and our mission, how this initiative can help your own discipleship journey, and the importance of being a part of our community. You'll also learn the role generosity plays for all of us, and how you can be part of changing lives for Jesus just by living out your faith.
August 11 - September 8
Community groups will meet weekly during Cultivate to dig deeper into what we're learning on Sunday morning. Your guidebook includes questions to consider with others and is a great way to learn from the people you do life with. If you're not currently in a group, join us for a large community group on Sundays at 10:30 am during these five weeks. Sign up here.
August 28 • 6:30 PM
Join us for a night of prayer, worship, and celebration of the impact Cultivate is making. This is a chance for those who want to commit to Cultivate early to do so.
September 1
NorthPoint Kids are learning the big ideas of Cultivate each week! Our team has prepared lessons that mirror what Pastor Jeremy is teaching in a way kids can understand. Kids will have an opportunity to make their own commitment to Jesus on this special Sunday.
September 8
We're celebrating the final week of Cultivate by turning in commitments for the initiative. Be praying throughout these five weeks about how God may be asking you to give and engage so that you'll be ready to commit on this Commitment Sunday.
Commit to Cultivate
When You're Ready
Our goal is 100% participation in Cultivate. First and foremost, we want to learn new things about God and ourselves during this initiative. We want everyone to allow God to create a greater level of generosity in our lives. Our secondary goal is monetary, with the goal of funding total ministry for the next two years. Please pray about how God may be moving you to commit to these goals. When you're ready, fill out a commitment card. This video will walk you through the process. You can pick up a commitment card in the central foyer.
